Mira Habash is an independent Jordanian-Lebanese singer-songwriter based in the United Arab Emirates. Her musical journey began at the age of twelve, when she joined the school choir; it was then that her teachers noticed the distinct uniqueness of her voice.
For the next fifteen years, she went on to perform as a lead vocalist with various acclaimed classical choirs around Jordan, the Middle East, and Europe, as well as lending her talents to orchestras.
Moved by insatiable curiosity, Mira is always seeking out new music and exploring its potential. She received a scholarship from the vocal department at the National Music Conservatory in Jordan, and has completed the Berklee Abu Dhabi PEARL program.
Mira performs in Arabic, English, and French, and moves fluidly between different genres, including indie, jazz, classical, and pop. She has shared the stage with formidable local and regional artists at events such as the 2020 Amman Jazz Festival in Jordan and the 2022 Dhour Shweir International Jazz Festival in Lebanon, where she had the privilege of preforming for an audience that included renowned Lebanese singer, Julia Boutros.
In addition to other well-known performances, Mira has released two singles so far, both of which are in Levantine Arabic and have jointly received over five-million streams across all DSPs. She is currently developing new music and plans to release more singles in 2023.
“As someone who has always struggled to put their thoughts into words, music has given me a way to communicate even the deepest sentiments to those I care about. It has been a journey, and I know now that I want to use my voice to connect with others like me and give them something they can truly relate to.” - Mira Habash
